As we celebrate our Independence on the 4th of July this weekend....you may be looking for some great recipe ideas for your cookout....look no further!! Southern Living already has a wonderful menu planned out & I must say that the fried pickles look yummo!! (don't knock'em until you've tried'em....they're addictive & I will most definitely be making them) The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! Meant to be shared with family & friends.....great company, food, drinks, & fireworks!! What more could you ask for?

This Gulf oil spill is absolutely terrible and it pains me everyday to see what we are doing to our wildlife & oceans!! But most people like myself think how can I help.....what can I do??? Well Dawn has set up a way for us to give back!! Father's Day is right around the corner!!

So Father's Day is this Sunday!!! Do you need some ideas as to what to get your father or husband?? Well if he's a tie wearing kind of guy, then a cake like this would be perfect!! I got a great email from Matt a guy who LOVE'S TIE'S and has a whole website devoted to them!! Finally Home Sweet Home....

I am so happy to announce that I will finally have the time & space to start blogging again.......Oh, how I have missed you guys!! We are finally in our new house minus all of our furniture, it should be here tomorrow!! And then hopefully it won't take me to long to get us unpacked and settled in....then the posts should return to normal!!

1st Birthday Session Sneak Peek

Recently I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with Sweet Brooks and his mom Wendi. I can't believe it's already been a year since we did his newborn pictures......boy has he grown! (I just wanted to squeeze his little cheeks off) We had so much fun shooting his birthday session in downtown St. Pete!! I hope you guys enjoy the pictures & congratulations on expecting baby boy #3!!

Bow Flip Flops

I absolutely LOVE these girly flip flops....I saw some just like them @ a Boutique down the street and thought......I wanna give it a try:) The sides are wrapped with grosgrain ribbon and a handmade bow seals the deal on top!! Let me know what you think....I would love to hear feedback!!

AMAZING....Apple Dip

So in just one word I would describe this apple dip as..........AMAZING......No, maybe LIFE ALTERING (I'm serious this stuff is jam up)!! When I was at a shower recently, my friend Katie (Who I'd like to thank again) made this dip and it was a HUGE hit!! So I got her to give up the recipe....so I could make it again when I got home and then share it with you!! But since you will probably want to lick the bowl you might not want to make this when anyone is around;)

Here's What You Need:

1 cup of white sugar (I used Splenda)

1 cup of brown sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla

1 8oz bar of cream cheese softened (I used fat free)

1 bag of Heath Bits

Apple slices

Mix ingredients 1-5 together....and wha la your dip is ready

Serve immediately with apple slices or Chill in refrigerator

I absolutely love taking pictures of sweet little

babies........especially when they are only 5 days
